Fantastic during the holiday-season and delicious with game, Barbaresco 2006 DOCG 'CASOT'.
The wine is often compared with Barolo, another Nebbiolo based wine from the Piedmont area. Though the wines do share many similarities, there are some distinct differences between them. Barbaresco is lighter bodied and is known for its finesse.
Like Burgundy Barbaresco has specific areas which are crus, the Barbaresco from wineries Nada Giuseppe is originated from the cru 'CASOT'.
